2024 Elections : Bawumia submits Presidential Nomination Forms.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has presented his candidacy documents at the Electoral Commission’s headquarters.

He was joined by his wife, Samira Bawumia, his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and his wife, Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh.

Party executives, including National Chairman Stephen Ntim, General Secretary Justin Koduah Frimpong, Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin, and other NPP leaders, have also arrived at the EC to show their support and solidarity.

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, is also scheduled to file his nomination later today.

Bawumia is seeking to break Ghana’s eight-year presidential jinx and succeed his boss, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
