No conclusive agreement has been reached between the leadership of agitating Teachers and the government over conditions of service and allowances.

The Government says it has nonetheless “received every assurance from the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the West African Examination Council (WAEC) that every arrangement pertaining to the conduct of the 2013 West African Senior Schools Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) is on course and therefore students, parents and schools should focus on their preparations for the examinations”.
